Making it throught this program is the goal.
The quest to find better ways to help kids make better choices as they journey through the middle years is the dream.
The challenge is putting the PhD and the Dreamquest together.

It's December 9th, 2008. My birthday.... love this day, halfway between Thanksgiving and the Christmas holidays, it fills in the void of December and always makes the season pretty special.
So, I woke up today and decided to blog my way through the next year.
I need someplace to put my thoughts down as I plow through my PhD Program in Education at Walden.
I'm also a vice principal at a middle school. My days are filled with interactions with kids who are constantly faced with making social and ethical choices, good and bad, influenced by their peers, their fears, or a need to be accepted by someone... maybe themselves.
